Working In Partnership

Motion Control Partnership

Working in partnerships with many local organisations in the Vale of Glamorgan is vital for Motion Control Dance.  Providing services and projects to other organisations and agencies in the community help us to enrich lives through movement. We are a community focused charity that gives people the ‘Chance to Dance’ by providing inclusive workshops and performances opportunities with positive outcomes.

Please contact us to discuss how Motion Control Dance can bring the benefits of movement into your organisation to uplift your team.

I have known Emma for a number of years in her capacity as a dance instructor and director of Motion Control Dance. She always manages to get the very best from every child so that they thoroughly enjoy their time working and performing with her.
Most recently Motion Control Dance led our "Big Barry Dance" with the whole school dancing 'Street Style", the dance was superbly choreographed and including children as young as 4 as well as parents. The teachers motivated every last one to give of their best and thoroughly enjoy the experience! The buzz created has led to a number of parents being trained by Motion Control Dance as instructors and those parents leading our children at the recent Memorial Hall Dance - fantastic! Because of Motion Control Dance's enthusiasm, creativity and professionalism, dance is alive and growing at Cadoxton Primary! Diolch!

I feel the project is amazing - I have never seen the residents look so alive!

I have linked with Motion Control Dance for over 7 years and they have been providing excellent Disability Dance Sessions as well as inclusive opportunities. The instructors have a huge amount of experience when it comes to providing dance activities for people with impairments. They include everyone and they concentrate on a persons ability rather than disability. The instructors tailor dance moves to suit each individual, this helps create a superb inclusive atmosphere where all the participants thrive. Motion Control Dance also give lots of opportunities for people to perform live in front of audiences in a number of different venues. This is brilliant as it gives people the opportunity to become more confident when it comes to performing. I highly recommend Motion Control Dance and will continue to work with them on a long term basis.

"The most memorable moments as a Manager is seeing the residents doing exercises and enjoying every minute. They are constantly smiling.”

"This is the third year that Motion Control Dance have worked with High Street Primary School. The whole project is an exciting opportunity for all children to participate in a whole school dance. The children, staff and parents thoroughly enjoy the experience of the rehearsals and final dance. We look forward to working with the team again next year."

Angela StevensVale Healthy Living Team

"Motion Control Dance has worked with us, the Healthy Living Team for many years helping us deliver dance to children across the Vale of Glamorgan. Motion Control Dance have delivered sessions in many of our schools including primary and secondary and also in the community. Emma – the instructor always keeps them thoroughly engaged throughout and themes the dance session to what they are learning in the curriculum – very impressive! She is able to engage with children some of which come from challenging backgrounds and some with behaviour issues. She always manages to engage them in the sessions and by doing so gives them a focus and an opportunity to learn new skills. The sessions are always fun and often lead to a performance which is something they would not have the chance to do if it was not for the sessions Emma delivers.
For us as a team having a highly qualified, knowledgeable, reliable and enthusiastic instructor who we can place in a school or community setting with confidence, knowing the participants will receive an excellent service has made our roles easier. "
